gauge?

did they make a gauge cluster that was higher than 85mph? for a 85 t/a.

Yes and no. 86-92 formulas, trans ams, and GTA's got 140MPH clusters, but they are electric speedometers. Your speedo is cable driven. It can be converted over though, see tech article here:
