Transmission: 700r4
rear hatch not opening with switch
i have an 1983 camaro and the hatch wouldn't open it started blowing fuses i replaced the the switch and the solinold in the trunk it stoped blowing fuses but still wont open any one got any ideas

Obvious question: With the connector unplugged, is the wire connector at the solinoid hot when you press the button? If close the latch by hand and jump power directly to the solinoid, does it open?
