Alright, my rear latch on my 83 z28 hasn't been working lately. So today when I got a chance I pulled it and saw the reason it wasn't working. Looks like some cable simply broke. Now for the life of me I just can't seem to find one at any part store. I've searched under hatch latch, trunk latch, trunk lid latch. Somebody care to point me in the right direction?

A word of caution. Just because an item is listed as being for a 1982-92 F-body doesn't mean it is true. In this case the seller was unaware that the motorized pull-down latch he was selling is only compatible with a 1986-91. It is in fact from a 89-91 car, but would work for a 86-87 by swapping the connector on the blue wire. Regardless, it will not fit Frontier07's 83 F-body wihtout major modification to his car. He'd need to cut the body mount out or his car and swap in the body mount from a 86-91 car.
