I tried taking my door panel off and the pass side handle trim is RIVETED to the door. Every plastic plate(including the driver side on this car) Ive ever removed had 2 screws holding it. This one has a screw behind the little bird and a metal cover or atype of rivet in the other one. what do I do to get off the door panel ? drill it out is my last option but Improbaly missing something. please help with info.thanks

I don't know much about your specific door panel, but maybe a previous owner had problems keeping it on, and decided to pop rivet it. I had a truck once that the whole door handle assembly, window buttons, etc were riveted to the inner door skin after you took the door panel off, but sounds like you said it was riveted to the door panel itself?
