Will these panels fit my door?
I own an 85 Z28, and I found a nice looking set of panels. But the guy is saying they will fit an 87 - 92, but I thought the panels for all the F-bodies 82 - 92 were universal

they aren't all universal. do the holes in your door panel line up with this one? thats the main thing, the mounting is all the same... maybe someone else will let you know exactly about the compatible years and models...

i believe the 88-92 cars were a little longer but i think that was mostly in the front and back bumper covers. that panel should fit. i have a door from 1988 on my 1986 iroc,and i have the 1986 door panel on the 1988 door. fits like a glove.

The door panels are the same in shape and size. The carpet is different on early cars. My 83 the carpet is not angled up like the door panel you show. The early cars the capet was straight across the door panel.

Those door panels will fit any thirdgen...all doors were the same size as well therefore the door panels will fit...
