auto shift plate
i bought a new one for my 91 rs. the one on there now is all cracked up and what not. i got all the screws out but i cant get it off because the part of the stick where the button is at. does this screw off or what?

The auto shifter **** has clip, that looks like a staple, that secures the **** to the to the shifter shaft. It is on the forward (i think) side of the ****. Pull out the clip, and lift the **** up. -Bill

ok awsome i just got it off and put the new shift plate on there. you have no idea how long ive been trying to figure that out.
