well, now, that i already payed for this new gauge cluster, i think i messed up because on the way home i remembered this new one is out of a v6 tpi ,i don't think tpi or not matters. is there anyway to make this one work? my old one just went crazy all the time.

Re: v6 to v8 instrument gauges
depending on the year (speedo cable or elec) it would work, only problem is, your tach would be setup for a v6, not v8, so you might see a 'small' increase in rpms LOL (your tach will be way off)

Re: v6 to v8 instrument gauges
Many of the V6 gauge clusters had oil light and not an oil gauge which would mean changing out the oil pressure sender if thats the case with this one.

That should work, unless there's something actually wrong with the old tach. You could conceivably swap all the gauges if you wanted but its probably not nessecary.
