want to change my sterring wheel
hi i would like to know if i can change my steering wheel in my 92 rs to a eariler style z28 wheel
i would like to change it to the eariler z28 wheels like my dads 86 irocz

If yours is identical to mine(which it should be), you will have to change your wires a little bit and remove the air bag wire completely. Thats what I had to do in order to use my Grant wheel.

Yeah its pretty much straight forward. its not too hard. you'll have to merge your 2 horn buttons into 1 and get rid of an air bag wire thats all. then just put the new wheel on and run your wire. you may also want to remove your airbag light from the dash. I havent yet started my car but I imagine the light wouldnt go off seeing as it isnt there anymore. However, I wont even pretend that i know this for sure b/c I've never taken an air bag wheel off before now, so its just a guess.
