Dynamat users inside!
how much does a typical roll of this stuff weigh? also, about how much would a typical 32"x54" roll cover? i'm seriously thinking of using it on the camaro, but i'm very VERY weight conscious. but i'm also thinking of giving my camaro some more street duty responsibilties and the car rattles like crazy. my end goal is to have a daily drivable car that weighs in the 2950lbs range. as the car sits, it weighs 2900 w/o me...but it's also not daily drivable just yet...
any help appreciated. pics are welcome as well as install tips and best places to get the stuff (price wise). i'm also planning to do the same thing to my firebird, which is more of a cruiser than a race car and weight is not as big of a concern.

what i was thinking was to get 1 roll, then just put it in strategic places that will help reduce rattles and such. i know it'd be alot of weight if i put the stuff everywhere.
things i can still do to reduce weight:
aluminum cylinder heads
aluminum water pump
replace rear carpet with aftermarket lightweight stuff. if i do those things and add the roll-bar and dynamat, i'm gonna be close to my goal. it'll probably be in the 30xx lbs range, but with some other little things taken away here and there, i think i'll be able to nickel and dime it back down to my goal.

Check this out...
http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/
I went with second skin audio...
http://secondskinaudio.com/
It took a frined and I 2 days to do from just ther rear pilars to the back... the passenger floor was a third day...

Even used some on the out rear well then used some of the liquid damper (looks purple in pic cuz of flash, but dries black)

Yes, more weight, but added this to help

depending on what rattles some people who are weight concious have had some amazing ideas b4 ive herd of people using that expanding foam in places and toothpicks just have a buddy drive around and start listening for all the different rattles in the car who knows maybe with the right one or 2 out of there the car could be very bearable to drive
