hatch motor adjustment???
well i have a problem cause one end of my hatch is misaligned from the outside the wing sits higher on the passanger side. plus im getting water in threw the top of the hatch behind the t-tops. i wanna adjust that motor seems like it needs to pull down the hatch more and maybe down on one side a little more. my only fear is i dont want to miss adjust it and have something ripped off the hatch or bust some gears. is there a special procedure for this???

Im not sure if there is a special procedure, but it isnt hard to adjust. You just loosen the three mounting bolts and move it. Loosen ,adjust, re-tighten, check. Repeat if necessary

Re: hatch motor adjustment???
My hatch motor also needs adjusted. I just fixed it(new guides and reinforced housing) and with the assembly all the way up it seems like it is still pulling the hatch down to far.

I know its an old post but, were you able to make the necessary adjustments? Any tricks that you could suggest?
