Odometer not working

Engine: 305 carb'd V8
Transmission: 4-speed auto
Axle/Gears: Stock
Odometer not working
Ok, I switched out two of them now. It can't be the odometers on both gauge clusters are bad. What are the chances. I also noticed that the amber light on the left side of the speedometer isn't lighting up. This happened on both gauge clusters.
Short or bad contact? It's gotta be an easy fix......I hope.

Anybody? Ok, let's try this again. 86 Firebird with the 140 speedo.
Everything works except the odometer and the amber light on the left side of the speedo. I've tried two gauge clusters and both have the same problem. Now, can someone please give some feedback. It's much appreciated.
