Hi Guys and Gals, just thought I would show off what I am doing here. I decided to reupholster some 93-97 Camaro seats to sell if your interested. The reason I did these is that I have been wanting to do a set like this for a while now and managed to squeeze them in between my other upholstery jobs I have been doing. I stay so busy doing customers jobs that I really never have time to do something I would like to do, so now I am almost done with these and they are really sweet! The foam in the seats have been built up and I am doing the outsides in black Ultra Leather and the inside inserts in black and orange Houndstooth. The reason I put 82-02 is that they will fit in the third gen cars as well in case anybody has an orange or black car OR if you just like orange. I will be finished with the back section of them by Sunday. If you wanted the back seats done, you would only have to let me know what year car you have and I can do them to match for an extra price. Let me know what you think good or bad. Thanks

Looks like you really do a nice job. What would you charge to recover 2 fronts (drivers sides) on a third gen? Can you redo them to the original seat covers? One is grey and the other is black.

Ok Guys & Gals, I'm finished and thought everyone might want to see how they turned out. Black Ultra Leather outsides and Orange and Black Houndstooth on the insides. They even look better in person.

 

Wow, those look good as factory! I can't wait until I get you to do my GTA seats (I'm the guy who sent you pics of the red seats). I'm going to be coming by "Birds and Bowties" Thursday for some exterior parts, maybe I can see some of your work in person.

thecovergirl...I just want to jump in and say I really love your work and attention to detail and love of the thirdgen. I just had my leather seats redone and I have a good set in my other car...however if I ever need seats in the future I am coming to you. I am interested in your dash pad covers though.

Anyone not considering you is crazy.

Hello again, not quite sure the exact color of Admiral Blue, but here is a scan of the only blue and black houndstooth available. I thought there were two blue colors, but there isn't. Let me know if this is close. This looks like a turquoise in person. If not, I have tons of colros of Ultra Leather in blue also I could send you and you could do a two-tone in two different color blues. That would look awesome or even black and blue two-tone. Two-tone does not cost anything extra. Let me know what you think about the color. Thanks

Wow, that is what I thought. We have the same color car we are getting ready to build. I just wasn't completely sure about the color. I LOVE the color and the car looks real nice. Yes I do suede. As a matter of fact, I just got a new book of sample colors in suede this afternoon. I thought the blue houndstooth would look really good with black ultra leather outsides on your seats. The scan I sent you just doesn't pick up the color blue as it really is. That is what I hate about sending colors. Anyways, keep in touch and let me know when you want to do something. Thanks

Yes, but I believe all those issues were resolved and from what I understand she had some major health issues during that time thats why her business birds and bow-ties had to close. However, I believe she still does upholstery work on the side.

 

Do we know for sure that the issue was handled? i never heard from thecovergirl on this matter and i have been on the fence with having work done because of the things i heard on here? Did the buyer receive their money back? i can completely understand the order taking time due to the health issues my mother is terminally ill but i am just wondering if the customer was returned their money before i go out on a limb and do business with them

 

I too, would like the answers to these questions. I think most people understand what it's like to have money and health issues in todays economy. Based on pics I have seen her work was second-to-none.

 

Far as I know the issue was settled, I had her redo my seats this past winter and they turned out great.
