I have been looking for some 4th Gen seats to install into my 1990 Formula. I have a chance to get a set out of a 2001 base model Firebird. The driver's seat is power and the passenger seat is manual. They are not the type with the plastic seat-backs.

Are the seats out of a Trans Am with the plastic backs more comfortable? Should I pass on these base model seats?

I'm not concerned with passenger seat being manual.
