well i recently aquired a V6 firebird cluster. i am designing a way to retrofit them into the Gbody Monte carlo SS. its a nice cheap upgrade to stick a 120 or 145mph cluster into the car when it came with a 85mph speedo 83-86 and a 120 from 87-88. now at my local yard theres about 10-12 Firebirds with the V6 cluster intact in them. at 14$ a pop i can buy these, recal the tach and fabricate a drop in setup for my car. now i read alot of posts on how to fix off tachs, and what not. but not how to make the V6 tach get the 4 pulses per revolution as it is required to read a V8 correctly. any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

nobody can offer any insite on this? i guess ill have to sell these and pick up another set for a V8
