Possible Complete 4th Gen Interior?

Ok so I currently have an 87 IROC and a 94 Base both with black interior...I'm trying to sell the 94 as a roller, but the interior is in PERFECT condition, and I'm thinking about swapping the dash, center console, seats F & R, seat belts and door panels...I know the seats and seat belts are a direct fit. My question is this- Is it really worthwhile to do the swap and scrap the car or leave it be and sell it as a roller? I've been reading up on the door panel, dash, and center console threads. Are there any specific parts that I need to swap them in, or is it pretty much just modding/fabing and fitting? Also, both the IROC and 94 have P/W, P/DL, and P/M. All of the switches in the IROC are on the center console and all of the switches in the 94 are on the drivers side door. I'm guessing I'd have to run wire over or re-wire the switches? Any input is very much appreciated.

Re: Possible Complete 4th Gen Interior?

ive seen it done but not saying it didnt take a lot of headaches and alittle custom work and cutting and bolting to make things fit right

and not sure how the dash instruments react with the stock engine sensors.

do a search on 4thgen swaps you should find alot

but i know for a fact the seat belts are alittle tricky

have fun

I would definately part the roller out, It will be worth more in pieces, there are lots of websites to sell those parts on. I would like to see it done. If you decide to do it, post pics!! I have been thinking about this swap too.

Thanks for the input guys!
I think I'm just going to swap the seats, seat belts, and maybe the center console. There's too much wiring involved for me to attempt the dash swap, I'm barely competent enough to wire a radio up.

Re: Possible Complete 4th Gen Interior?

Theres a handful of users here who have done complete 4th gen interior swaps. I must say, it looks very nice, but its a very involved project. A lot of ducting to re-route and a lot of wiring. The dash might work if its pre-OBDII. I'm not sure. Good luck...
