Engine: Lt1 in IROC

Transmission: 5 speeds

Axle/Gears: Moser 12 bolt tru tracker 3.42

oil press guage 87 interchangebility w/other years

I have an 87 with the oil press guage built into the tach..it looks like it comes out separately from behind. Mine is dead and needs to be replaced. i see lots of them on e-bay for sale, but they all seem to list different ranges of years that the guage fits......it looks like any of the ones that can come out separately from the back of the tack....can anyone confirm this? thanks pat

Any v8 gauge will interchange with any other. The difference will be the gauge facing(82 face only,and I think needles for all years). I don't know about the updated dash in the late model third gens, but being an 87 you have the old style. When I uprgraded my cluster, it was plug and play, oil pressure gauge and all.
