Removing harsh stains.. New car..

Hey all, the search function is frustrating me again so I posted a new one..

Anyway, I have a 91 Formula, loaded interior, but I had a small hole in my wheel well where the seam sealer seems to have vacated the area. I just fixed it up with POR15 and more seam sealer. Anyway, it left the insulation soaked, and stinking, it also went through and made a hell of a nasty mess on the carpet.

It's like a brownish/black mark going from the front of the passenger seat all the way to the dashboard underneath.

Any suggestions on something that would take this out? I'm an apprentice electrician who doesn't make much so, the cheaper the better.

Thanks, KP.

I've always had good luck with Tuff Stuff Carpet Cleaner. It comes in a yellow/red aerosol can. Spray it on till it foams up real thick and let it sit for a few minutes then scrub out with a stiff brush. Most auto parts stores should have it, and Walmart carries it too in the automotive section.

I have to agree with him also, Tuff stuff can get almost anything out. Really works. it leaves a weird smell in your car for a while but it eventually leaves if you leave your windows open for a few times while driving.
