OEM CARPET

Hi Folks
I did a search but did not really see a good answer to my question.
Who makes an OEM carpet for 92 Z-28 camaro? I want a carpet that even expert could not tell it was replaced. any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Cost isn't an issue here. I have owned the car since it was new and want a perfect car.
thanks
Bill

Re: OEM CARPET

There use to be 2 major companies that made carpet... (same place the above links get them from)...

ACC and ACS... one of them, many people reported that the carpet would fade... the company that sold the fading carpet, bought out the other one... (I'm starting to forget which company is which now)...

Anyways, they do make a standard 800ct carpet and a premium 1000ct (more fibers) carpet... as for an "exact" match, get samples, they are not direct GM colors...

Ya, ACC bought out ACS / Dorsett....

Re: OEM CARPET

I found this site on the GM Parts Direct site.

www.autocarpetonline.com

They cost more than some but I like the options they offer and you can also get nice floor mats. Unless I here of anything better I may give them a try.

Re: OEM CARPET

Hi Folks
Thank you for the inputs and I can see that people are happy with the new carpet but are there a differences between the new and OEM carpet? If you see a difference I would rather keep the old carpet (has some tar stains) and try to clean it up – may never get real clean. Original look is very important to me.
Thanks
Bill
