Help with High Beam Switch

I was replacing the wiper/turn signal switch and when I removed the smallest plastic part of the trim on the steering column, the part that the tilt lever goes through, I apparently disassembled the linkage between the high beam rod (that goes down to the switch itself) and the turn signal switch. A plastic piece fell out that apparently transfers the motion from the switch to the rod, but I can't figure out how to put it back together. If someone could describe how it's supposed to go together, that'd be great. I can try to post pics of what I'm talking about if needed.

Re: Help with High Beam Switch

It's been a long time since i had mine apart and it's not an easy thing to explain without visual aids but i will tell you what i recall. the small plastic piece that actuates your hi beam rod slips into the small housing of the steering column, the round end with the groove fits against the actuating rod and the other end should have a tab that the blinker arm actuates.
hope this helps, good luck.
