We are rebuilding a 1982 TA.I need a set of tan seat belts that suit the ttop model.The set i have is the old manual type but would like the auto retract version for the front and back.

 

They should already be the retracting type, if they are original.
The front belts just had the roof-mounted retractor in 82; 83-92 had a second retractor mounted down by the doorsill and require a different plastic sill plate to accommodate this.
The rears from 82-88 have a retractor on the outer mount; in 89 they switched to the over-the-shoulder rear belt which had it's retractor mounted in the rear cargo area.
I *think* 4thgen front belts are a direct swap into the 82.

 

I have just taken a set of tan seat belts from a 82 TA
let me know if you still need them and I will check to make sure they are all here.
