Has anyone come up with a 100% working 4th gen dash HVAC setup yet?
Hey Everyone.
Im back at my 4th gen dash swap. I havnt done much since i first did it in 2006.
Ive got an LS1/T56 in the car now, so ive got a serial '00 t/a dash that ive got in.
Gauges work fine, dash fits, however, i still havnt done anything with the HVAC.
I know the Fan speed control is plug/play, and i know the modifications needed to have the HVAC Box fit in. But, has anyone made the vaccum position select work 100% correctly?
The heat level select was also one to be figured out. Did anyone get this? Id really like to get the HVAC all working correctly. Except for a/c which is deleted, i want Heating to work & come out properly haha (sucks not having defog)
Any/all info would be GREATLY appreciated!

HVAC selection worked for me until I busted the plastic tabs on the diverter where the vacuum harness that plugs into the back. I did this when when I was installing my cable and need a new diverter.
As for the temp control cable its been working fine for over a year. Pretty sure I posted what year of 4th gen I used a cable from. Simply make sure of the length as some years of 4th gen are different and then mod the end to work on the shaft on the actual box. IIRC a dremel, a self tapping #2 screw and a quickly fabricated "L" bracket was all I used.
