dash replacement?
dash replacement?
Hey guys. I'm looking for either a new dashboard or a way to fix my old one. It's all cracked and the foam is gone under it on the corners, so it's probably better that I just get a new one. Does anybody know where to get a new dash (preferably not from GM due to the factory cost...)? All the ones in the junkyard are trashed. Also while i'm at it, does anybody know where to get a new center console? i just need the top plates really, the ones that screw down around the gearshift and the one between that and the radio/ac panel. Does anybody know where to find either of those?

There is a dash pad on ebay #110308163562. Looks to be in perfect condition. I've found center consoles there as well from time to time.

The classifieds on site might prove useful.

Re: dash replacement?
I know you want to avoid the cost of new, but if you can't find anything used or off of ebay, check Classic Industries' and Year One's catalogs. The only dash pad I've seen offered for a third gen is from Classic Industries at a cost of $329...however, at least you'll know it's condition is good.
As far as center consoles go. Year One offers the upper console for $138 compared to Classic Industries at $159.
