Trunk Panel

Ive got a 92 firebird convertible. The plastic panel in the trunk space, that would cover the spare tire is gone. Is this the same on a convertible as a coupe? It looks the same as my old camaro but without being able to compare i cant really tell.

If its not the same does anyone know who has one for sale?

Thanks in advance

Re: Trunk Panel

The plastic cover isn't gone. GM got cheap on the 91-92 convertibles and just put a thin formed carpet cover over that area. To answer your question, yes you can get the piece from a coupe and cut it to fit. That is what they did on the 87-90 'verts.
