If you have was there alot of electrical work that you had to do other than swapping the pcm or was it just pretty much straight up? Hes really interested in it and i just want to get it out of my garage. All help is apriciated. thanks

Re: Dash swap???
Ya'.... I've made the swap more than once. No - It's not an easy swap. The wiring is pretty compatable between the 2 cars as they are both 86's & should have each used a separate wiring harnesses; 1 for the Motor and 1 for the ECM ( unlike later cars that use a single harness for everything. )
The problem with this swap is that all the other parts of the interior are also needed. The Whole interior Heater box and Wiring system must be changed if you want heat,..... the correct Seering Column should be used, the "normal" Camaro center console doesn't line up to a berlinetta dash, and so on. As far as wiring, beside changing the entire Heater/AC harness, The wiper wiring at C100 will have to be re-pinned or the wiring will need to be spliced. The more parts you have from the donor car - the better the chances of making this swap a success !
