I went out today to find my dashpad has 2 long cracks running from the defroster vent all the way to the front. I park up against my house facing North, so the sun didn't do it, plus I have tinted windows all the way around. We did have the coldest nights we have had here in awhile around 26F. Could the cold have done it?
More importantly, how do I remove the dash pad and where can I find another one? This really ticks me off because my dash pad and interior were in excellent shape.

 

pulled mine of recently and its simple,remove long srews in heater vents and check around the instrement panel bezel i cant remember if there were a few in the front.As far as buying one I see them all over craigslist in my area.for 50-100$ also check ebay.

 

The cold can definitely do that. Removal is easy, i think there are 6 or 8 screws, just lift it off. Bird pads are easy to find, camaro pads are hard
