Was there any difference in the underdash light assemblies over the years?

The reason I ask is because someone ripped everything out of mine all the way back to the connector by the fuse block.

I found someone on craigslist with a 92 V6 Camaro and he said he would sell me both light assemblies and harness for $20, but I know that 91 and 92 had different style hush panels than 82 - 90 and I don't think in those two years the underdash were even in the huish panels anymore. Am I good to go or am I screwed?

 

Ive seen some that were mounted in the hush panels and ive seen a few that had then screwed into the top of the kick panels

 

My 89 has them in the hush panels next to each kick panel, my 92 doesnt have any at all.

 

Here is a picture of the bulb holders that were attached to the kick panels.I always wondered what that little hole was for at the top edge of the kick panel.These were screwed into those holes
