Re: hole in the floor

leaking? How deep of water are you driving through? I think you'll find it's collecting water from a failing heater core, or your t-tops, if you have them, or something like that.

sometimes puddles are deep... i remove the carpet, and found there was a square patch of silicone, but some was missing( this was in that relly low area of the passenger floorbord..) so i took out the silicone, and out popped a metal plake..... there was about a 4inch oval hole( its factory made) i checked and there are a total of 4. 1 in the front passenger oone in back... same in the drivers side...... i know it didnt leak trough the window because all of the carpet was dry but that spot.... if u check underneath the car u can see them, there is one right by the cathelitic converter

Re: hole in the floor

sounds like your heater is leaking. that it where we all get water when they leak, on the passenger side on the floor.
is it clear water or does it look like antifreeze?
did it show up on a day you turned on your heater.
if its the heater its a cheap fix, but it will take forever to do it.

I know about the plugs, but for the tire to splash water through the passenger side one, you'd hafta be making a tight turn at a relatively high speed. Even then, it's not like the plug is a scoop. Put your best friend in the passenger seat, then have them check for leaks while you pour water around the window and T-top, if your car has t-tops. If it's not that, it's probably the heater core.
