Axle/Gears: 3:73

Leather Shift **** Problem.

Hey guys I just bought a leather shift **** off ebay and replaced my old one. But for some reason it wont stay on. there is no clip hole in the **** itself, and it will pull right off. Does anyone know how to help me?

as in screw right off? or as in just stright off? I used Silicone tape on mine when it was slightly loose.

No it will just pull straight off. It doesnt screw on there is no threads in the **** itself or the shift rod either.
