you might be able to use your tracks from the old seats, not sure though..them are some nice seats..the outside black and insert in the middle red would like sick..you said they are $200.. is that for one seat or for the pair?

Re: Hunsaker Seats In The 3rd Gen.

the ones im getting off my buddy are the same exact ones in the picture with the logo in black stiching instead of the older ones in white which im not a big fan off, so the 09 are the ones i like so yeah, and hes giving me both ( 2 ) for 200 with the Hansaker 5 point harness i believe it is, but what sucks i dont have a roll cage so im gona try to find a why how to mount them or so, they have the one click release for the harness so thats pretty coo. im going to try to call Hunsaker to see if they got the rails in stock for my car since the main company is here in town where i live at so yeah, what brackets did you use?

thanks. Tony.

why do you want those seats? those holes are for a harness, hence a race seat. do you race or something? if not they might not be as comfortable and they certainly aren't that attractive for a car that never goes to tracks.

for a reason i was liked the look of them on our cars just my openion, like the seats on my car now there strating to rip on the sides. so i wanted to get some seats out of a 4th gen and put them in my car and as those seats they also have the look of a bucket seat or so. so basically as money wise what i spending on these seats i would of pay the same amount to get them fix or to buy 4th gen seats and hey is a steal for the price im getting them for. i was looking at the website for the seats and they run for 200.00 new http://www.hunsakersports.com/html/synkro_cloth.html and these seats that im getting there like new since the truck has been sitting for a while so yeah.

Tony.

Re: Hunsaker Seats In The 3rd Gen.

when i put the seats in my car, i had the same problem with how to mount them. i took 1x1 square tube and used 1/8 inch plate that was welded to the tube for the seat to bolt to, then placed the seats in the car made sure that the sliders were able to give a fair amount of adjustment, and then welded the tube to the floor of the car. worked out very well
