Dash vents?

Dash vents?

How do the small vents on top of the dash board stay on? My car didn't have them, when I bought the car. I just bought a set to put on there. Do I need some kind of adhesive? Thanks for the help.

They just clip in, if you're talking about the louvers inside the vent hole.
