Headrest removal (Lear Siegler) ?
Hi,
I'm removing the covers on my 84 T/A L/S seats, but I can't figure out how to remove the headrest.
Has anyone done this before ?
Thanks

James is right except you want to go from the backside of the headrest not the front. Just push a long, flat piece of metal down into the seat along the metal headrest mount and you can pull it out. (An old table knife works good.) You will probably still need to give it a good pull to get it out.

I just tried both ways and it doesn't do anything. On the rear it goes all the way down and through the seat frame, on the front it won't go further than an inch.

Well I tried again with a larger metal plate, from front to bottom and it won't come out
EDIT : Just got one ! Actually, you have to slide the metal piece at the front of the headrest on these seats. Mines are a bit rusty so I think that's why it's a little hard.
