Lookimg for some imfo on a 1985 firebird hard top with factory orange with silver interior. seats are orange with a silver stripe in the middle. the lower dash is orange, pocket on the dash with the firebird stamp on it. carpet and the pastics are orange. its a plane jane bird, no power windows,locks or mirrors. no rear defrost, mirrors and the rear fin are black and the car is bronze color. Does anone know where i can find out the production numbers on this bird.

wow, I've never heard of a factory orange interior Firebird. Do you have any pics by chance? I've also never heard of 2 tone Firebird seats outside Recaros and GTA's...

 

Yes, have some pic's try to get them on tuesday nite. I've seen black and silver , red and silver. and it looks all stock.

I have to agree, I really wouldn't say thats orange, I was expecting something like orange-juice orange. I think that might be brown (faded brown?)

 

Not sure on Firebirds, but they only offered copper for Camaros in 1985 @ 11k vehicles. It might also be listed as russet. That's really odd seeing the dash and map pocket that color though.

its not a faded brown, ok a burnt orange, pic's don't do it justice. if you could see it in person you would understand

BTW, the numbers should be in what's called the Firebird White Book. I don't have one handy. You may be able to find the same info online if you search a bit.

No problem, I haven't seen many out there with the same color scheme so it's interesting to see someone else's. Let me know if you put it up on Ebay, I'd like to watch the sale.

 

I have an orange interior-ed 85 like this man says, the under carpet metal is orange too, but someone painted the outside blue and silver, dash isn't as cool though. Whole car is sad, but I've never seen one orange. He is right, pictures don't do justice, myself and the 6 people that have seen it in person agree, it's orange, even the original non faded floor pans.

 

The seats and door panels just look like sun faded red silver combo that my TA was originally, but I've never seen orange paint and red or orange dash panels.
Was there a Sunkist edition Firebird? Or maybe some marketing promo?
