couple interior questions
so i am starting to prepare myself to take apart my interior. few quick questions: how hard is it to remove the front seats? is the carpet pretty straight forward to take off and reinstall? anything that i should be aware or watch out for? and i am taking off my a pillars and am wondering what the right way is to accomplish this. i have a non t-top car.

For the carpet, you'll need to remove the center console. Not to tough, not sure about a bird, but on a Camaro you just remove the shifter ****, and remove the shifter cover and radio bezel. I think there are 2 bolts inside the center glove box that keep it held down. You'll just need to pull on it, and see if it moves, and keep looking for any bolts that might be holding it down as you go.
I think that's about it, oh you'll need to remove the 2 sills by the doors too. The carpet is tucked under it, and it's easier to remove if they are out of the way. The seatbelt retractor thing, is held in with a 50 size torx, I went to Sears and got a socket like thing that fits on a socket wrench, makes it easier to remove.

Re: couple interior questions
when i removed my carpet it was a pain, i remember having trouble getting the center console off of the T-shaped shifter but the used carpet i put in had been cut in the center so it could just be folded and slid in to place. what im getting to is you may be able to make a small cut in an area that will be hidden by the center console and save yourself a lot of time.
