i have an 86 iroc and i hate how its lacking cup holders. i wondering if anyone knew if there was any room to drop a cup holder into the center console. i was thinking right in between the armrest and the window controls would b a good place but i wasnt sure if it was empty underneath. does anyone know if it is?

 

I suggest a

People have swapped to 4th gen consoles for their cupholders built in.
People have attached cup holders to the sides of the stock console.
People are even using the Camaro console lid, with a cup holder in it.

ya i knew about the cup holder arm rest thing but i would rather not if theres another alternative. i also didnt want to get one of those tacky stick on cup holders.

 

Put one where the ash tray is, or swap in a 4th gen console. I prefer the 4th gen console swap, but it is much easier to do in Firebirds....but not impossible in Camaros, just extra work & parts.
