Power Window Ground Locations
Hey guys. I took my doors apart last weekend and cleaned and lubricated everthing inside them. I got my power door locks working and my windows moving faster smoother. The windows are still slow so I'll probably end up replacing the motors but I want to check all of the grounds first. Does anyone know where the grounds for the power window circuit are located? I'm sure I can find them but I'd rather not tear apart my interior searching blindly for them. Also, when I roll my windows up or down I've noticed a consierable pull on the battery. The volt meter on my dash usually sits at 13V with the car running but when I hit the window switches it drops down to 12 or 11. What's that about? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Power Window Ground Locations
The single ground is under the center console, directly underneath the power window switches beside the e-brake mounting bracket.
The power window motors, by themselves create a lot of draw, now add age and all the gunk that was slowing the motors down, fighting them to put the window down, of which creates even more draw. At this point, i would have to say age of the motors is what is creating such a high amount of juice to power them.

Thanks for the help. That could have been a frustrating search. I figure it's probably time to replace the window motors but I want to make sure I check everything.
