bounces around... it can be on full, i look up, and when i look back down it's at half, seems to move around freely, but gives a general idea of how much gas is there... what could this be? fixes? thanks

Re: gas gauge

It should stay relatively still and give an accurate reading when idle. I know mine jumps all over the place (From empty to full quickly) unless cruising at one speed and on a smooth road or idling and still. Though I have a Sport Coupe with a gas gauge where the tach should be.

I've also found out that you will suddenly have more gas if you're turning right.
