Installing new carpet soon.

I just picked up some nice indoor/outdoor carpet from Lowes and am going to install it soon. Between work and the weather the rest of this week it looks as if I'll do it on Monday.

Any tips or tricks when I remove the center console?

I'd seriously rethink your carpet choice. There's no way to get it to conform to the floor pan shape. It's not going to look good.

Did you get the green turf? It'll work great for cleaning the snow from your shoes

Another big plus, you can simply pressure wash the interior clean

Re: Installing new carpet soon.

Center console just unbolts, but it's 1-piece up around the radio and heater controls, so those need to come out first. It's just a simple matter of removing any bolts/screws you see until it comes out.

Back to the carpet... you may at least want to consider using the unbacked carpet that car stereo shops use to cover speaker enclosures with. At least that stuff can be streched so that you'll have some chance of getting it to the right shape. That stuff you bought is going to be a disaster.

Agreed. You aren't carpeting a home or office. Carpeting the interior of a car isn't just a different ball game, it's not even the same sport.
