remove shifter help
Hey I need help removing the t shaped shifter in my car. I tried to search it but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks

I'm not familiar with T/A's but you might look for a clip that holds the T-handle on.
Put the key in the on position and shift into low. Look over in front of the handle down the stick and you should see a slot. There's a U-shaped clip in the slot. Use a small screw driver to pull the clip out. The handle should pull up and off the stick.

I agree its in the front on my camaro. Its a pin shaped like a "U" only square. Easy to take out if u have the rite tool. U need something with a hook on the end. Like a dental instrument. A small regular old slotted screw driver could work but can be a pain to do it that way.
