Restoring Dash Pad
Hey guys i got a Molded Dash pad cover from my Ol lady for christmas and im just now thinking about recoving my old cracked one. which kind of glue adhesive should i use to make sure i get the original top and new pad to stick good and dont come loose or make cracking noises. i was thinking of JB weld then i was like naw, maybe Some 3m emblem adhesive or could u guys let me know something i could use from O'Riellys or autozone. thanks
Oh yea im gonna sand both differnet pieaces and use 4-5 clamps and maybe some flat pieaces of wood to make even contact? thanks but which kinda glue should i use?

The silicone kind. Clear ATV Silicone works well...

do you know what brand of dash pad? You need to make sure you don't over-glue the cover to the stock dash piece. Since your dash swells and shrinks with weather changes, over gluing can cause your replacement piece to crack if its not allowed to breathe. Most manufacturers include installation instructions with their pads, following them will assure you have no problems in the future.
As for the correct adhesive, I agree with using clear silicone.
