Gauges >.<

so i been driving my 87 iroc now for a while. all my gauges are pretty much dead except my tempeture. speedometer is making a noise now and sounds like its about to quit on me.

any good setup for good prices? tried searching for some but cant find any -.- ftl.

I'm not sure where you're searching, but there are a TON of options, and there have been a million threads here about them.

One option is to fix what you've got. Most gauge problems are associated with the printed circuit "wiring". Often the traces crack or corrode so you could replace that printed wiring, or repair it a number of different ways.

Next, you could just replace the cluster. You can find a complete cluster cheaply on Ebay. You'll want to swap your speedo over so that your odometer is accurate. The noisy speedo is likely the cable, so you should plan to replace, or at the very least, lubricate that.

Lastly, you could upgrade to aftermarket gauges. Covans sells a pre-fabricated panel with or without gauges, or you could make your own panel to hold the gauges. Either way, you'll need to take your time and wire the new gauges to your factory wiring, or run new wiring.
