installed 2001 trans am seats in my gta but there's a problem
the problem is there power seats and my gta connector will not plug into the new seats. and to make thing more complex the driver seat is set as far back making it hard for my 5'7 inch body to reach the pedal. so just wondering is there a electronic cable that will work for my gta to connect with the new trans am seats.

not sure what the cable looks like coming from the seat. but... if your needed to jerry rig it just to work for now and get a plug adapter or something else later on
just splice into the wires from the car to the seat or if you dont care about the plugs just cut them off. but thats totally up to u.
orange is constant power and black is ground coming from the car connector.
if its the same from the seat just match the colors.
anybody else have a suggestion? i never connected 4th gen seats in a 3rdgen.
jsut trying to help

What happened to your old seats? cut the connector off your old seat and solder it to the wiring in the new seat. Problem solved and you can still disconnect it if needed, plus your only modifying the wiring on the seat and leaving the factory wiring in the car itself alone.

Be sure you got the power seat harness that ran under the carpet from the 4th gen connecting the two seats
If you got that, then its just a simple 12v and ground to connect
Unfortunately the two wire connector is not the same as the 3rd gen, but its easy to add a two wire inline conenctor

It's a simple 2 wire connection and you dont even need to find a source to tap into like I do, for a clean factory look and ease of service you can wire in a new connector. Your local parts store should sell several types, get a weather pac style if you track a lot of snow or mud into the car.
