Interior Door panel

Redoing the interior on my 85 IROC. I am replacing the carpets, t-top trim, seats etc. I was looking at 1A autos website, and they list door trims for 86-92 only. I imagine they will fit, but whats the difference between 1985 and 1986+?

Re: Interior Door panel

Might be some different locations for the cutouts for arm rests, door handles, etc., or maybe the OE trim. I just put on a set from Hawks that matched perfect for my 89 RS. The cutouts were only perforated on the back side for you to complete. They also came with some very good quality push in clips. They looked brand new when I was done.

Re: Interior Door panel

Hey guys, thanks for the interest. While they should work, they're not necessarily a 100% OE match for the earlier years. We're kinda sticklers like that, but only because we want to make sure you get exactly what you are expecting a what came on your car originally. As for pricing, it can vary depending on the style and material, but feel free to PM if you're looking for specifics or material samples.

The ones from Hawks are $150 plus shipping.

I also did the weather seals on the doors from 1A Auto, good stuff and great fit, though I was a little concerned when I tried to shut the door the first time and it bounced back open. Seals just need to compress a little for a couple of days, and then they work fine.
