No - they are different sizes. You can swap out the entire seat belt set, but you can't click a 3rd gen belt into a 4th gen receiver, or visa versa.

Not sure how different Camaro is from Firebird (seatbelt wise), but I replaced my crappy 80's recievers with a set from a 2002 T/A and they work with my stock 80's belts, front and back...no problems.
