is this a no no?

I have a 87 Gta Trans Am, but i found some nice leather seat covers with chevy bowties on them. Same with my leather steering wheel cover i have for a long time. What do you think? I dont really care honestly lol, im just curious if anyone else does this. I mean its all the same thing really (GM). Plus my car is a mixed breed. Chevy engine, 02 chevy rear end,96 chevy transmission, foxbody cobra seats

Re: is this a no no?

honestly, me and my brother had that discussion last night.....not quite the same. he was laughing saying he saw a toyota truck with a chevy symbol tow hitch.... or people having cars with other car model rims. We tend to laugh at them because it just doesn't match, but really that's not that bad. for one, its on the inside, 2 its not like when honda's have racing stickers on the outside when its all stock lol. and plus like you said its a mix breed car. I would probably do the same. if i somehow fit a v8 in a four cylinder car, I would put a v8 symbol on the outside :P you do have chevy parts, plus, its not like you put vtech on the side lol i wouldn't be worried

Wouldn't do it myself, but I'm admittedly **** in such matters.

If you honestly don't care, then, since it's your ride, do what you want.

How difficult was it to install the GTO seats? Just swap the rails or was major fab work needed?

Yeah they bolted right in. Very comfortable also and really make the front stand out. I removed the back seat for the harness.

I guess its alright but its kind of like when integra guys put a honda sticker on them. I know honda releases them in japan but i still dont see the point.
