82 TA upper console reinstall.
.my upper console was cracked around the radio so I finally found a nice one to replace it. It came out easy enough because it was broke. Now I want to reinstall the new one and it just wont go, is there a trick to get passed the e brake lever, the new one wants to break in the same place when I try to bend it a little so I stopped trying, thanks.

The e-brake handle will have to be all the way up. You may have to get underneath the car and loosen the e-brake adjustment to accomplish this.
