Re: gauges do not work!
check to see tach hooked to the power side or the tach terminal on the distributor, if you got a coil-in-cap then test the coil for shorts.. Its weird because a lot of the gauges are independent. check maybe the ground shorted. check fuse block for a fuse labeled gauges too. and might even try disconnecting the tach wire off the distributor and probe it for voltage, ground continuity. Next i would disconnect the wire to the temp sender on the block, i think its between drivers side 5th and 7th cylinder sparkplug on the head/block. check the wire for voltage and ground continuity. Does the car run sweet?
Re: gauges do not work!
well my gauges all come out like plugs on the cluster, but they just dont work properly, the car has been parked since early 04 cause it just crapped out i bought it in 09 and been saving to get a new motor and now the gauges dont work. but the tach aint really all that important since its an auto but i would still like everything to work correctly. and yeah it runs perfect. now the e break is stuck on but i will get it working tommrrow
