Does anybody make the roll up cargo covers?
I'm wondering if anybody makes the roll up cargo covers that these cars use to have. My 87 Shelby Charger had the same kind of thing for the hatch area and I need to find someone that sells them, whether it's some kind of universal fit or specific fit thing. Anybody have any ideas?

I have a brand new rollout cargo cover black that fits a 1984 iroc. If I remember correctly it would fit in my 1992 also. Send a pm if you want pics or such. I got it with a car that someone was "restoring" and it had a ton of new parts with the car.

Re: Does anybody make the roll up cargo covers?
The roll up cargo area cover is specific to these cars. It is also the same from 1982 to 1992 if I am not mistaken. However there are metal brackets that they mount to which are not present in cars that do not have them. The brackets would either have to be cut out of the donor car and welded in place or you'd have to fab some up and weld them in place. Additionally the interior sail panel plastics and plastic cover on the underside of the deck lid are different on cars equipped with the cover. Though it would be easy enough to cut out the needed holes in them should you try and do it.

There's no metal bracketry anywhere with mine. And has nothing to do with the sail panel at all. There are plastic holders that mount in the rear just behind the seats on each side, and there are two notches in the trunk lid. I have no idea what you are referring to here.

I'd like to know if they make new ones as well since most of the ones you find work like 30 year old window shades once you install them.
FYI: The bracket locations changed over the years as well in case it's a new install or if the interior plastic is ever swapped.

There's no such thing as an '84 IROC.
