Door Panel Plastics

Look for that inner door plastic that goes behind the actual door panel. Anyone know where I can get that at? I don't want my new door panels to rot because I tore it all off and threw it away.

Re: Door Panel Plastics

I saw a place that sold a different material for that purpose, but you would have to cut / shape it... I can't seem to find the link, so I bumped this to see too...

Re: Door Panel Plastics

Just pick up a roll of sheet plastic at your local hardware store and cut it to fit. Nobody sells replacement water shields already precut.

Re: Door Panel Plastics

If you want to prevent the bottom of the doors from rotting make sure the little holes at the bottom of the door are cleared out and not clogged.

Those holes allow the water to come out. Also make sure the sweeps are in good shape too.
