Re: Summit Racing seats

I looked into these awhile back & had a discussion with Scat about them. The shoulders are WAY to wide to do me any good. I don't see how they would be useful for anybody.

Re: Summit Racing seats

Yeah i got them in mine, the rails dont line up right so i had to fab something, but they are comfortable, and the **** that moves the seat back forward and back hits the drivers seat belt unit. But other than that i like them for the price i got em for. I can get more pics later if you want. I only have two pics on my cardomain page.

Re: Summit Racing seats

i was wondering when fab these seats, did you use a tig welder? bolts? Im going to definatly get racing seats, with a roll bar system, i wanna be about to use the 5 point harness which i believe i can attach to the roll bar behind the seats? i use the inside door handle to steady myself in quick turns.

Re: Summit Racing seats

all i did was get little steel tabs and mount the seats to the tabs then swivel the tabs and mount them to the studs, kinda cheap but it works, then i cut the rear mounts off the passengers side and mounted those to the seats.
