Mother's Back to Black Why Only Exterior?

Last night I decided to try and use some mother's back to black on the top rail panel of my driver side door to see if it could correct an uneven sheen issue that occured when I sprayed this part with dye. I put it on at night so I was unable to see the results until morning, but when I came out to my car this morning to go to work I could IMMEDIATELY notice a night and day difference.

For S&G's while I was in the car I decided to apply the back to black to my steering wheel to see how it would take. This is the ONLY product out of all interior care products I have used that retains It's sheen and doesnt wear/rub off. By the time I pulled into work, the steering wheel still retained the same luster it had when I left my parking space. It also cleaned the top rail panel up very nicely.

So of course before using this stuff on any of the rest of the interior, my question is why is the bottle labeled as exterior vinyl care only?

Because it stays slimy. Not exactly what I want all over my interior when my hands and arms are against the panels all the time.

When I use to detail cars we always went for the new car look which is "not shinny". Too much shiny or greasy is not desireable. In that instance you are better off with painting the plastic.
